I would appreciate any good advice on stopping a pesky leak in my aluminum boat. I've tried silicon gel, but that scraped off after about two seconds. Also, whats the best brand of neoprene waders? I've got year-old Hodgeman's that leak worse than my boat! The bay is just too rough on all my stuff!

Drill it out to a 1/4″ inch and use a bolt with large washers on both sides with a little silicon. Works up to about a 1/2″ crack or hole. Also keeps the crack from spreading.

I had several leaks in a 14' aluminum boat. I tried JB WELD, I tried Belzona, and silicon. When I finaly said enough was enough, I brought the boat to a aluminum welding shop. He flipped the boat over and welded every single rivet on the bottom of the boat (maybe 50), for $35. Then I felt stupid, I had easily paid that much in quick fix remmedies over the years and a whole lot of time.
